Up-Stretch from The Plank

About this session:

Move from The Plank into this energising and holistic whole-body stretch (also known as the Downward Dog in yoga).

What do I need for this session?:

A mat, yourself and a desire for wellbeing.

Explanation:

In this session we begin with The Plank and then pivot the body at the shoulder as we raise our waist and hips and drop our head to move into our Up-Stretch, a position also sometimes referred to as the Downward Dog. Experience stretching and tension release throughout the body for between 3 to 5 full breath cycles (in & out) before returning to the resting pose.
